Warzone Season 3 Reloaded is almost done, leading fans to wonder what the next major update will bring. Luckily, the devs revealed a ton of info about when and what to expect in Season 4 of Warzone.

Warzone Season 4 release date
Warzone Season 4 will kick off on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST.
Urzikstan updates in Warzone Season 4
The Season 4 update for Warzone is bringing several updates to Urzikstan, introducing several Gulag changes.
Gulag update (Launch)
Season 4 will introduce four Silo variants for Urzikstan’s Battle Royale Gulag. These will be randomly selected when players enter the 1v1 duel granting “new ways to approach” the fight.
Here’s a description of each Gulag Silo variant, as described in the Season 4 blog:
- Gulag S: Stacked equipment and L-shaped plywood walls with an S-shaped central wall over the circular floor grate
- Gulag 2: A three-panel curved wall, stacked equipment against two walled sections, and two curved inner walls above the circular floor grate
- Gulag 3: Stacked equipment against two walled sections, with concrete L-shaped walls around the central circular floor grate
- Gulag 8: A rectangular concrete barrier wall outside long central section around the central circular floor grate with one plywood wall sprayed with a blue “8.”
Urzikstan bunkers (In-season)
Despite not being a brand-new feature, the bunkers have been a fan-favorite feature in Warzone, since its first inclusion in Verdansk, and they’re back in Season 4. According to the blog, players will need a keycard to access them and will find “high-level loot,” however, not all of them will be accessible.
Additionally, secondary bunker exit hatches are also set to become available, allowing players different methods to escape.
Warzone Season 4 modes
As with every season, Warzone Season 4 will also bring a new game mode offering players a familiar experience within Battle Royale, the returning fan-favorite Buy Back Royale.
Buy Back Royale (Launch)
Returning from the previous Warzone iteration in Season 4 is Buy Back Royale, this mode follows the regular Battle Royale rules, excluding the Gulag availability, allowing players to return to a match after dying as long as they have enough cash on them.
Warzone Season 4 new features
New features are coming to Warzone as part of the Season 4 update, including additional methods to unlock exclusive rewards and in-game bonuses.
Specialist Perk
Veteran Warzone players will remember how powerful the Specialist Perk is, as it was one of the most sought-after elements within the game’s first iteration, allowing players to gain a massive advantage against opponents.
In Season 4, the fan-favorite Specialist Perk will arrive in Urzikstan after being implanted in Rebirth Island previously. This grants players all the benefits of every Perk available in the game.
Tactical Sprint Boots Perk
Another Urzikstan-exclusive feature arriving with Season 4 is the Tactical Sprint Boots Perk, which will be accessible through the bunkers and will grant players an “unlimited increase in your Tactical Sprint speed, and a reduction in fall damage.”
Loot Hot Zones
Warzone’s Season 4 Loot Hot Zones are established points of interest on the Urzikstan that will reward higher-tier loot.
New vehicle in Warzone Season 4
Urzikstan is host to a ton of content in Season 4, and among it is the new Polaris RZR land vehicle – a “real-world side-by-side UTV” that offers “immediate acceleration, nimble handling, and rugged durability.” Additionally, it offers three players’ seats and enhanced fuel economy.
Warzone Season 4 weapons
Warzone Season 4 will introduce four new weapons into the game – two of them dropping at launch, including the return of the fan-favorite Kar98k Rifle.
Kar98k – Marksman Rifle
Last seen in Vanguard’s Warzone Pacific as a Sniper Rifle, the Kar98k returns in Warzone Season 4 as a “powerful and accurate” Marksman Rifle.
Since its introduction in Call of Duty, this weapon has become a staple in the franchise with its greatest recognition found in Warzone, being the hardest-hitting long-range rifle to kill enemies with ease from afar.
Superi 46 SMG
The Superi 46 SMG is a “pistol-caliber carbine” that is set to take over the short-range meta being impressible impactful up close offering “accuracy to mid-range and above-average recoil control.”
Reclaimer 18 (mid-season)
The Reclaimer 18 is another classic CoD powerful weapon that returns in Season 4, popular known as the Spas-12, this “legendary 12-gauge shotgun” will also allow players to dominate the close-range encounters.
Sledgehammer
Just like MW3’s developer name, the Sledgehammer Melee is also being added to the game’s weapon arsenal. Described as a “20-pound head forged from carbon steel,” this gun could be an excellent choice if you’re into melee fighting.
Warzone Season 4 Operators
Warzone Season 4 expands the roster by bringing five new Operators, including the beloved Task Force 141 member, Soap.

Warzone Season 4 Mobile Suit Gundam crossover
Season 4’s new crossover in Warzone will be Mobile Suit Gundam, the popular television series written by Yoshiyuki Tomino. As part of the collab, the game will introduce three themed bundles in the store.
