Epic GamesAfter its massive success in Season 1, Fortnite is back with Chapter 5 Season 2 which has just begun. With more and more players getting into the game in the new season, here are the best landing spots in the game to ensure more loot and wins.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is in full swing, and players are interested in exploring the new Greek mythology-inspired theme and checking out the brand new mythic powers to boost their performance in-game.
To effortlessly excel in the ongoing season, players can shortlist some places on the map that not only support their aggressive or defensive playstyle but also ensure that they get solid loot to engage in battles.
Luckily, there’s no shortage of such locations on the map, and these are the best landing locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.
Best landing locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2
Mount Olympus
If you want some of the best loot in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, make sure that you land on Mount Olympus. With a Greek mythology theme this season, it is practically impossible to miss no matter where you are on the map due to its sheer size.
From a highly rewarding boss fight to the Thunderbolt of Zeus weapon, Mount Olympus should be your go-to option for landing if you are looking for some of the best loot possible in the game. However, located on the southeastern part of the map, it might have an inflated enemy density as well.
Summit Temple
Also located in the southeastern position of the Fortnite map, Summit Temple is yet another great choice if you are looking to get some good pieces of gear. However, as it is reasonably close to Mount Olympus, keep in mind that this area would be highly contested too.
On the other hand, you can find eight chests throughout this area, carrying heavy loot if you are able to open them. If you are considering rotation as well, make sure to pack your mobility items as well, as you are more or less in between two biomes here.
Lavish Lair
Lavish Lair, the snowy POI on the Fortnite Chapter 5 map, is great in terms of positioning and loot. After getting a gun and ammo, you can take on Oscar to get your hands on his Medallion and the shotgun. Having said that, a lot of players may land alongside you so be prepared for a fight.
For players who don’t want to be overwhelmed by enemies at the beginning of the match, there’s a small island north of Lavish Lair, and even in a team, you’ll have enough chests to open there. Moreover, there are several mushrooms on the island that come in handy if you want quick heals or shields.
Reckless Railways
Reckless Railways is close to the center of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 map, which immediately makes it a desirable landing spot. This is also where you’ll find the Grand Station, which is loaded with chests and floor loot. Although most players will land on the Grand Station, you can choose to land in the smaller buildings surrounding it.
The smaller buildings and the tower square are great for fooling enemies that are chasing you and these spots are also ideal to make the most of long-range weapons such as snipers. Do note that Reckless Railways is wildly popular among players so you’ll definitely face a couple of opponents soon after landing.
The Underworld
We are moving up now, in the northwestern region of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 map, into The Underworld. Keep the green water all around the area in your mind as it will act as a landmark whenever you want to dive right in.
It is a new POI in Fortnite, which means you can be facing a large amount of enemies whenever you land here. However, to balance the risk, your rewards consist of some of the best weapons in the game, and Wings of Icarus, alongside an exciting boss fight against Hades, another Greek god.
