As of April 2024, there are three free skins for you to obtain in Fortnite. Here’s a breakdown of all three and how you can get them for free.

How to get free skins in Fortnite
While free skins are uncommon, there are a few methods to obtain them in Fortnite:
- Event Challenges: During special events, completing challenges can reward you with free skins. Keep an eye out for themed tournaments and event-specific tasks.
- Exclusive Tournaments: Epic Games occasionally hosts tournaments featuring crossover characters and streamer-related ICON Series skins. The highest-ranking players in these tournaments can earn the skin for free.
- Giveaways: Rarely, Epic Games may release a code for a free Fortnite skin, but this doesn’t happen often and you should be wary of searching online for free codes, as you could get scammed.
