On that note, here’s a guide on all Honkai Star Rail elements and their effects.

List of all element Types in Honkai Star Rail

There are seven elements in Honkai Star Rail, known as Types, and you can check them out below:

How do Types work in Honkai Star Rail

Each playable character in Honkai Star Rail belongs to one of the seven unique in-game elements, and all enemies possess elemental weaknesses as well. All of this shapes your party’s attack strategies.

To maximize your damage, it’s important to use elemental attacks that break the shield of the enemy. The elemental weaknesses of the enemy are showcased with icons above their health bar.

Once the shield is shattered, the enemy enters the ‘Weakness Break’ state, during which they become more susceptible to your party’s attacks, no matter their element.
