Despite Formula 1 fans recognizing F1 23 was a success, they are asking devs to consider a set of features to improve the F1 24 experience. Check out what gameplay features the community requires in F1 24

Formula 1 fans can’t wait to play the new F1 24 and try out the new features it will introduce. While EA Sports revealed which tracks will be present in the game, as well as the roster of drivers who will be protagonists in the offline modes; they still haven’t unveiled their plans for the new edition.

However, that didn’t stop fans from making a list of what they expect for F1 24, and Reddit user ‘Unhappy_Ad6381’ detailed in a post a set of new features they hope to see in the gameplay of the next installment.

F1 24 will feature all the Formula 1 updated cars with their official team’s livery.

In the list, the user highlights some very interesting changes to see in F1 24’s gameplay, for example, “enhanced wheel-to-wheel contact physics,” and “real-life livery changes.” These improvements would not necessarily mean a significant resource investment for EA Sports to implement.

The OP’s list also emphasizes “FIA to recognize fair penalties,” where the user suggests that penalties should also be applied to AI when they commit infractions. However, other fans pointed out that “there are so many variables that it is nearly impossible to get a good working system for that.”

Many F1 24 fans chimed in the discussion and commented on other features they would like to see in the new game, such as no more throttle limiter during SC (Safety Car), classic tracks, VR support for PSVR2, and more.

Finally, despite the hopes of many fans, many agree that EA Sports might only give them “F1 23 with more bugs and updated car designs,” and one player thought that they’d even use the same face presets.

Despite these negative comments, F1 23 is considered “one of the best racing games” of 2023, and while some requests are a bit challenging to fulfill, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable for EA Sports to implement some changes such as improved contact and damage physics.
