The World Series of Warzone returns for its fourth edition in 2024, solidifying its position as an essential part of Call of Duty’s competitive scene since its debut in Verdansk. The tournament, which was also featured in Caldera and Al Mazrah, provides Ranked fans around the globe with the chance to compete in massive prize pools.

World Series of Warzone 2024 start date
The World Series of Warzone 2024 will kick off on May 24, 2024, with the North America (NA) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) In-game Open. This will be followed by the APAC (Asia-Pacific) and LATAM South and North Qualifiers starting June 14, 2024.
How to watch World Series of Warzone 2024
Like previous editions, to watch the World Series of Warzone 2024 you’ll need to tune in to the official Call of Duty Twitch and YouTube channels once the event goes live.
World Series of Warzone 2024 format
To start things hot, the World Series of Warzone 2024 tournament will tweak its format by kicking off with the SoloYolo match featuring a price of $50,000. According to the WSOW blog post, this will shift “more of the overall prizing to the WSOW Global Final.”
Then, Trios will participate in an In-game Open via FACEIT with their score consisting of their best 10 scoring matches utilizing the WSOW system. Then, the top 68 Trios from each region move on to the WSOW Group Stage Qualifiers divided into four groups with 17 teams each.
The top 34 group play teams will play in the Upper Bracket, whereas the bottom 34 teams will play in the Lower Bracket Round 1, with the top 17 Upper Bracket teams progressing to the Qualifier Finals. The other teams will drop into Lower Bracket Round 2, playing the top 17 teams from Lower Bracket Round 1.
The 17 teams who finish last in the Lower Bracket Round 1 will be eliminated. In the Lower Bracket Round 2, 17 teams will advance to the Qualifier Finals, while 10 teams who don’t advance will go to the Last Chance Qualifier. The bottom seven of these will be eliminated from the competition.
Finally, 14 EMEA Trios, 14 NA Trios, 1 APAC Trio, 3 LATAM North Trios, 2 LATAM South Trios, and 4 LCQ teams will be competing in the Global Final for a grand prize across several matches. Additional details regarding the Global Final prize pool will be announced once the event start date approaches.

To achieve a competitive experience, the World Series of Warzone will feature its own rules, however, the 2024 edition will incorporate a few changes based on players’ feedback.
WSOW Trios competitive settings
The 2024 edition of the World Series of Warzone will feature a Battle Royale trios format with similar Ranked Resurgence competitive settings. Additionally, more changes will be introduced to make things fair.

Following previous iterations, the World Series of Warzone 2024 will have a scoring system allowing players to claim through the ranks.

What is Warzone Match Point? World Series system explained
The World Series of Warzone 2024 will mark the introduction of the Match Point as the “win condition to elevate the excitement of the final drops.” In Warzone Match Point, the teams will fight to “surpass a certain points threshold” to become match-point eligible.
Then, match-point-eligible teams will have to “navigate the lobby” to secure a first-place map finish before they can claim the title of WSOW Champion Squad.
