Is XDefiant on Steam?

XDefiant blends 6v6 arena gameplay with the Ubisoft universe and here’s whether the title is available on Steam.

From a Ranked Play Mode to Domination and Occupy game modes, Ubisoft’s XDefiant features everything and more you’d expect from a shooter game but with its own twists on the genre.

While the title is available on PC and new-gen consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S, it is not coming to PS4 and Xbox One as announced back in 2023.

This has many wondering if the PC version of XDefiant is available through Steam, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

Is XDefiant on Steam?

XDefiant is not on Steam as it is a Ubisoft Connect exclusive title. But this doesn’t mean it won’t be available on Valve’s storefront in the future.

XDefiant’s Executive Producer, Mark Rubin, responded to a fan asking whether the game is planned to arrive on Steam, saying, “For launch it will only be on UbiConnect but it is something we are talking about as a possibility for later.”

Many Ubisoft titles also arrive on Steam and the Epic Games Store, so XDefiant coming to different PC launchers is well within the realms of possibility. But for now, at least, you’ll need to have the Ubisoft Connect launcher installed to play it.
