Diablo 4 Season 4 has completely overhauled the Codex of Power, the valuable collection of Legendary Aspects that let you buff your gear according to your favorite build. Here’s everything new in Diablo 4: Loot Reborn.

After an intense trial period in Diablo 4 Season 4 PTR, Blizzard confirmed that the new Codex of Power is ready for its official launch. This collection of Legendary Aspects has been completely changed, and lets players focus on upgrading their favorite Affixes.

Diablo 4 Season 4: Codex of Power overhaul

The Codex of Power in Diablo 4 is a collection of Legendary Aspects and Affixes that you’ll get while exploring Sanctuary. You can imprint these precious buffs onto your gear to get particular powers to enhance your build.

Season 4: Loot Reborn has changed how the Codex of Power works, and it now stores every Aspect extracted from Legendary Items to be used indefinitely. It will always display all available Aspects, which will let players focus on seeking the highest Aspect rolls possible.

After encountering an Aspect with a higher roll than the current, it will replace the old one set in the Codex of Power. You will also be able to see which affixes you have equipped.

You can keep track of your Legendary Aspects progression in the new Codex of Power.

Aspects can now be favorited within the Codex of Power, and a tooltip will show whether you already have that Aspect equipped when searching within the Codex.

Keep in mind that after a Season ends, your Codex of Power will reset and retain those learned affixes for the Eternal Realm. If you already have the same Aspect learned in the Eternal Realm, the Codex of Power will keep the higher of the two.
