Marksman Rifles can stand out when looking to dominate long ranges in MW3, so here are all ranked from best to worst, including a list of the top five picks in Season 3 Reloaded.

MW3 Season 3 Reloaded is fully underway, and despite Assault Rifles and Snipers being the dominant choices for long-range combat, Marksman Rifles can also be deadly if you shoot with precision without taking a hit.

This category packs a punch and offers more freedom to dash around the map. So, if you’re looking for the best Marksman Rifles in MW3, here’s our ranked list for Season 3 Reloaded.

5. MTZ Interceptor

The MTZ Interceptor used to be the best Marksman Rifle in MW3 before its massive nerfs.

Despite being the best Marksman Rifle in both multiplayer and Warzone previously, a massive damage nerf pushed the MTZ Interceptor down the list. Additionally, a Season 3 Reloaded nerf further reduced this Rifle’s damage, requiring players to be extremely precise and fast with the trigger to get kills.

4. MCW 6.8

The MCW 6.8 can be unlocked through the Armory Unlock Challenges system.

The MCW 6.8 is the Marksman Rifle variant of the popular MCW Assault Rifle. This gun is a versatile option effective at both medium and close ranges, although a quick finger will be needed to compete with the bullet velocity of other weapon categories.

While it may struggle against the options higher up in our list, the MCW 6.8 can assert dominance over distant enemies, particularly when headshots are landed accurately.

3. DM56

DM56 MW3
The DM56 remains at the third spot of best Marksman Rifles in MW3.

Thanks to its incredibly low recoil and high damage output, the DM56 claims the second-best Marksman Rifle spot in MW3. Call of Duty veterans will notice a striking resemblance to the most-hated meta, the DMR from Black Ops Cold War.

2. KVD Enforcer

KVD Enforcer MW3
The KVD Enforcer is the fastest-firing weapon in MW3.

Boasting a fast TTK, the KVD Enforcer is the second-best Marksman Rifle to pick. This gun delivers remarkable damage making it a valuable choice for players who prefer an aggressive playstyle, with very low recoil and high bullet speed allowing you to eliminate your opponents using a few bullets.

1. Lockwood MK2 – Best Marksman Rifle in MW3

Lockwood MK2 MW2 MW3
The Lockwood MK2 has claimed all the way to the first spot in MW3 Season 3 Reloaded.

Though often overlooked, MW2’s Lockwood MK2 reviewed the JAK Wardens Aftermarket Part, transforming it into the iconic Model 1887 from the original 2009 MW2. This makes it an exceptional choice for close-range combat.

While it may not be considered a Marksman Rifle when equipping the AMP, there’s no doubt the Lockwood MK2 has turned into the most powerful choice. As a result, it has earned the top spot among Marksman Rifles in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.

All in all, those were all the Marksman Rifles in Modern Warfare 3 ranked from best to worst. For more on the game, be sure to take a look at our other guides:
