Does Wuthering Waves have multiplayer & co-op?

If you’re wondering whether Wuthering Waves will have multiplayer as well as co-op support, here’s all you need to know. 

Kuro Games’ upcoming open-world title, Wuthering Waves, follows a similar party based gameplay as other gacha titles like Genshin Impact. The gameplay in these titles lends itself perfectly for co-op, and most of them feature it. 

However, multiplayer is rarely ever included in other games from the genre, and here’s whether Wuthering Waves changes it.

Is there multiplayer in Wuthering Waves?

No, Wuthering Waves does not feature a traditional multiplayer mode.

With it being a gacha game, where you can easily cough out money and get stronger than others, it isn’t surprising that Wuthering Waves does not feature PvP multiplayer.

It is also likely there won’t be any multiplayer modes where players will be directly competing with others with their characters. There is, however, a possibility that the game may add some other non-competitive PvP that does not involve characters or gacha-locked elements like TCG and Windtrace in Genshin Impact.

Can you play Wuthering Waves co-op? 

Yes, you can play Wuthering Waves in co-op, as the game supports co-op up to three players. 

It isn’t a full-fledged co-op that we generally see in other games and is more in line with Genshin Impact. You can only explore the world, play domains, and beat enemies. The campaign in Wuthering Waves can only be played solo.

But, still, the only way you can play with other players is through co-op, with multiplayer being absent.
