Destiny 2: How to get Exotic class items & all perks in The Final Shape

The highly anticipated The Final Shape DLC will be the finale of the decade-spanning Light vs. Dark saga of the Destiny series. It wouldn’t really be a proper send-off if it wasn’t packed with content, and one notable addition will be Exotic class items.

How to unlock Exotic class items in Destiny 2 The Final Shape
Exotic class items in Destiny 2 can be unlocked by playing a new activity in The Final Shape that’ll be available in Week 2 after the Raid World First.
Bungie revealed this in their May 10, 2024, TWAB and didn’t specify the exact activity as they wanted to avoid sharing spoilers so early.
The Final Shape Raid will be live on June 7, three days after the DLC releases.
How Exotic class items work in Destiny 2
Exotic class items in Destiny 2 will have two random perks, and they’re all pulled from the existing Exotics. Their effect will be less powerful than the original, so the older Exotics won’t become obsolete. Some of these perks also belong to different classes, which means Titan can roll some perks that belong to Hunter’s Exotics, and so on.
While random, there is a limited pool of 16 perks – eight in each column – that can be rolled. You can farm them in the not-yet-revealed The Final Shape activity and chase for your preferred rolls.
One other limitation is that the Exotic class item only works when you have the new Prismatic subclass equipped.

As said earlier, you can roll any of the eight perks for each column and continue to farm until you get the right combination of rolls in each slot.
