Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 leaks & rumors: Theme & expected content

Not much is known about Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, but since Season 2 introduced Greek gods, there are rumors and speculations that a massive war could bring about an apocalypse theme.

Zeus has already assembled the Stormforged Hourglass on the Island, and the current Medusa Snapshot Quests will require you to damage it. Rumors suggest that destroying the Stormforged Hourglass will trigger a war-themed live event marking the end of Chapter 5 Season 2.

Leakers shared some datamined assets showcasing Mount Olypmus’ statue moving and creating a thunderstorm that will bring changes to the map. Players also expect a sandstorm that will cover part of the island, Mad Max style. What’s more, other elements hint at different factions in the apocalypse-themed season alongside a survey skin that fits the whole aesthetic.

Fall Guys comes to Fortnite

The devs have also confirmed that Fall Guys assets will be arriving for Creative in May 2024, which is also when Chapter 5 Season 3 will arrive. This will allow Fortnite Creative players to create and play their own crazy parkour maps similar to Fall Guys.

Klombo returns to LEGO

After being in the battle royale for only one season, Klombo the dinosaur mascot will come back to Fortnite to bring new elements to LEGO Fortnite. It’s unknown what other aspects of the game will be influenced by the creature and how players will be able to interact with it, but we’ll keep you updated.

Pirates of the Caribbean crossover coming soon

Lastly, HYPEX revealed the highly-anticipated crossover with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise should arrive during Chapter 5 Season 3’s second update. It’s unclear what the collaboration will bring, but players can expect skins and other cosmetics alongside some kind of Creative experience based on the popular story.

Will the current Fortnite Season be extended?

As of now, Epic Games haven’t mentioned anything about extending the current Fortnite season, and it is unlikely that they will do so.
