S-Tier

Bangalore

Bangalore is the most versatile Legend in Apex Legends. Not only does she provide two Smoke Launchers to create walls of smoke, but her passive – Double Time makes you run 30% faster for two seconds while under fire.

Then, her Ultimate Rolling Thunder is one of the strongest abilities in the Battle Royale to stop squads from pushing, start attacks in an area, or simply make the other team reposition.

Lifeline

Lifeline is stronger than ever in Apex Legends Season 21, as not only is she great for keeping you and your teammates topped up on health with the D.O.C Heal Drone, but she also provides great support in terms of loot with her Ultimate – Care Package and ability to open blue Loot Bins.

Lifeline’s main appeal is definitely her Passive – Combat Revive though, as it allows you to revive players without any downtime, as the D.O.C drone does all the work while you can defend.

Gibraltar

Gibraltar is a powerful Support character in Apex Legends, providing tons of defensive support to his team. His strengths lie in throwing a Dome of Protection for his team that blocks incoming and outgoing attacks, with a 33% faster revive time inside this barrier.

Additionally, Gibraltar’s Ultimate – Defensive Bombardment can be used both for aggressive and defensive playmaking.

Horizon

As for Horizon, she’s a top five Legend for her mobility, as she skates around the game’s different maps with ease thanks to her Passive – Spacewalk. The Legend even offers her teammates an option for movement too with her Tactical ability – Gravity Lift, which is perfect for getting to higher ground.

Horizon’s Ultimate – Black Hole is also very powerful, especially if you combine it with others, if it’s placed correctly, it can completely disrupt and destroy an enemy team in a powerful position.

Bloodhound

Bloodhound continues to be a great pick for Apex Legends in Season 21, as he is undoubtedly the best recon Legend in the game, tracking enemies down with ease thanks to his Passive – Tracker.

His Tactical scan – Eye of the All-Father is extremely effective for identifying enemy positions, and his Ultimate – Beast of the Hunt allows him and his teammates to go on an absolute teardown.

A-Tier

Pathfinder

Pathfinder’s mobility is the main reason he’s been a consistent top pick in the Apex Legends meta since the very start. The Legend’s ability to get high ground fast, while also help his team to get better ground with a zipline is exactly why he’s in the A-Tier.

Alter

Alter is the new Legend in Season 21, and she places highly in our tier list simply because of her ability to get in and out of situations effortlessly. Alter takes some mastering, but once you have it down, bypassing doors to get into buildings and using her Ultimate to save the day makes her a top choice.

Newcastle

As for Newcastle, some major buffs to his Ultimate Castle Wall have shot him straight up the tier list, as it now has the ability to prevent incoming Grenades, Thermites, and Arc Stars. This, combined with his Tactical shield and passive shield revive make him a solid defensive option for any team.

Mad Maggie

It’s all in the name when it comes to Mad Maggie, as she can cause absolute chaos on the battlefield. ANy player who enjoys sheer damage output and speed should think about picking Mad Maggie up.

Wraith

Wraith is a tried and tested classic character for Apex Legends who is no less powerful than she has always been. Her ability to survive and help her teammates reach better positions with her Ultimate portal continues to make her a strong addition to any team in Season 21.

Conduit

Conduit is all about keeping the team topped up on shields. Combined with her Passive speed boost when far away from teammates, she’s a great team player who can offer the support teams need when they’re looking for victory.

Revenant

Since the huge rework, Revenant has become one of the strongest and most aggressive characters in the game. Leaping on enemies when they’re low health and making a push after popping his Ultimate makes him a scary opponent, so it’s best to keep him on your good side.

Catalyst

Catalyst is perfect for those who like to control the battlefield and manipulate situations to favor their team. Catalyst’s Ultimate is all about crowd control, and the Tactical allows Catalyst to barricade doors to bunker down, which is great for final circle situations.

Octane

Octane is the most popular mobility Legend in the game, and he’s all about speed. Sometimes, however, this can be a major detriment, but when used correctly, the stim and Jump Pad are extremely helpful for multiple situations such as rotating, pushing, and escaping sticky circumstances.

Ash

Lastly, we have Ash, who completes the A-Tier. This Legend is an aggressive option who can prevent enemies from escaping with a well-timed Arc Snare while also having an extremely fast teleport that can be a lifesaver in competitive matches.

B-Tier

Fuse

Kicking off the B-Tier for Apex Legends is Fuse. While he can be a nuisance to come up against, Fuse lacks a truly useful Ultimate ability, which leads to a reliance on Ordnance and his tactical cluster grenades.

Caustic

Next up we have Caustic, who’s a strong pick but is very situational. Caustic thrives in tight situations with his gas traps, making him great for smaller, more dense maps such as Kings Canyon and Olympus, but he’s unfortunately very vulnerable in open spaces.

Rampart

Rampart is one of the most fun Legend in the entire game mainly thanks to her minigun Ultimate ability, Shiela. She can control fights with her Amped Cover and wreak havoc with LMGs thanks to her Passive, but she takes a lot of mastering, as sometimes you can leave yourself open with a poor barricade placement.

Valkyrie

Valkyrie is probably the most mobile Legend in the game, as she has a jetpack. However, you’re extremely vulnerable while using it, making it a situation ability that should only really be used in short bursts. The best thing about Valkyrie is her ability to get the team together and rotate with her Ultimate, Skyward Dive.

Wattson

Another great option for controlling the battlefield is Wattson, whose electric fences can be placed to block areas off and secure positions of power. Her Ultimate also acts as a trophy system, which is extremely powerful when you have a strong spot in the zone.

Mirage

Mirage is all about trickery and deception, giving him a unique playstyle that takes a lot of mastering to become truly strong with him. That said, he has a very powerful revive that sees him go invisible, and his Ultimate ability will fool even the best and most experienced of players.

Loba

Apex Legends’ very own translocating thief, Loba, is a solid support character with a nice mobility option with her Tactical. Being able to supply the team with loot is a desirable ability for any team, as great loot can win you matches.

Ballistic

Finishing off B-Tier is Ballistic. This Legend is all about combat utility and initiation, with the ability to jam enemy weapons with his Tactical, hold three weapons, and event grant faster reloads and speed in the midst of a fight.

C-Tier

Crypto

Crypto comes in as our first Legend for C-Tier, and while he can be effective when it comes to getting eyes on the enemy thanks to his drone, he requires a lot of team coordination due to his lack of mobility and need to be constantly using the drone, making him weaker than Bloodhound.

Vantage

We then have Vantage, another Recon Legend who struggles to make an impact due to the expertise needed to use her Sniper. If you’re accurate, she can be extremely strong, and even reach positions of power thanks to her Echo Reflection Tactical. However, she ultimately lacks in firepower and Recon in comparison to Bloodhound.

Seer

C-Tier is full of Recons, as last in our tier list is Seer, another Legend who just can’t quite make it out of Bloodhound’s shadow. Seer’s abilities seem powerful, but in practice, they require you to be very close to the enemy, whereas Bloodhound can scan a whole POI in a matter of seconds.

We recommend Legends such as Bloodhound, Lifeline, Wraith, and Gibraltar for beginners in Apex Legends Season 21, as these characters all have straightforward abilities and are unlocked for new players. So, depending on how you like to play, give these characters a go and see which one you vibe with the most.
